What we collect

What we do not collect
- No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for.
- No newsletter. We do not operate a mailing list, so there is no list to be added to.
- No customer database. We are not a retailer and we never see your purchase.
- No payment information, ever. Purchases happen on the retailer's site, not here.
- No session recording, heatmaps or behavioral tracking tools. Each would add a render-blocking script to a site whose job is to load fast.
- No third-party advertising network. There is no display advertising on this site.
Third parties
Three, and each has a specific job:
- Google Analytics 4, for traffic measurement. It sets cookies and records the data described above. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on or by blocking the script.
- Amazon, when you click an affiliate link. From that point Amazon's privacy policy applies, not ours. Amazon knows the visit came from us; we do not learn who you are.
- Our hosting provider, which serves the pages and keeps standard request logs.
The contact form is delivered by Microsoft Graph to our own mailbox. It is not routed through a third-party form service.
Affiliate links and cookies
When you click a product link here, you pass through a redirect that attaches our Amazon Associates tracking ID and then sends you to Amazon. Amazon sets its own cookie so a resulting purchase is attributed to us. This does not change the price you pay, and we receive no information identifying you — only aggregate commission reporting. Full detail in our affiliate disclosure.
Your choices
- Block analytics. A browser extension, a privacy-focused browser, or Google's opt-out add-on all work. Nothing on this site stops working if you do.
- Do not submit the form. Email us directly instead if you would rather not use it.
- Ask us to delete your message. If you have contacted us and want that correspondence deleted, say so and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of personal data about you, and to object to certain processing. Because the only personal data we hold is correspondence you chose to send us, exercising those rights is usually straightforward: email us and we will act on it.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. Given how little we collect, substantive changes are unlikely.
