Terms of Use

The terms this site is published on — and one disclaimer that genuinely matters, because this content is about 240-volt circuits.

By Mike M.Last verified

These terms apply to evandcharger.com, published by Iron Mako Media. By using the site you accept them. Last updated October 5, 2026.

The content

  • Everything here is published in good faith and sourced to primary documentation on a stated date. Our methodology describes exactly what verification means here, including the explicit statement that we do not bench-test hardware.
  • Specifications change. Manufacturers revise products, model years differ, and figures correct on the date we checked them may not be correct later. Every page shows its last-verified date so you can judge how current it is.
  • Code adoption varies. NEC editions are adopted by jurisdictions at different times and with local amendments. Your inspector is the authority having jurisdiction, not this site.
  • Prices change constantly. Prices come from Amazon's live data and carry the date they were checked. We make no representation about a price at any other moment.
  • Owner reports are labeled as such and are not findings we have verified.

No warranty

The content is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Iron Mako Media and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of this site or reliance on its content.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

This site contains affiliate links, disclosed in full on our affiliate disclosure page. When you follow a link to a retailer or any other site, you leave this site and that site's own terms and privacy policy apply. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, their prices, their stock, or their conduct.

Any purchase is a contract between you and the retailer. We are not a party to it. Warranty, returns, delivery and support are matters for the retailer and the manufacturer.

Intellectual property

The text, structure, tables and diagrams on this site are the property of Iron Mako Media unless stated otherwise. Product images are provided through the Amazon Product Advertising / Creators API and remain the property of their respective owners; they appear here only alongside links to those products on Amazon, as that license requires.

You may quote and link to this site, and we would rather you did that than reproduced a page wholesale. Quoting a table with a link back is explicitly fine and genuinely welcome — the onboard charger limits table exists to be cited. Republishing substantial portions without attribution is not.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at a rate that degrades it for others, or use it to distribute malware. Automated access for reasonable research or indexing purposes is fine; our robots.txt sets out what crawlers may access.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page reflects the current version, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the publisher is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

FAQ

Questions people actually ask

Is the electrical information on this site a specification I can build from?

No. It is information to help you brief and evaluate a licensed electrician, not an engineering specification for your house. Run length, wall construction, panel capacity, terminal temperature ratings and local code amendments all affect the answer, and only a qualified person on site can make the final determinations.

Can I quote your tables on a forum or in an article?

Yes, with a link back — that is what they are for. The onboard charger limits table in particular exists to be cited. Republishing substantial portions of a page without attribution is not acceptable.

Do you guarantee the prices shown?

No. Prices come from Amazon's live data and carry the date they were checked. They change constantly, and we make no representation about a price at any other moment. If the data is more than 48 hours old the number disappears entirely.
